After pressing and alcoholic fermentation with careful control of temperature and duration of maceration, malolactic fermentation follows and then the wine is left to rest in stainless steel until bottling. Released on the market after two months in the bottle.
Garnet red with delicate purple refelctioons, limpid and transparent. Intense and persistent nose of red fruit and vegetal notes. Palate is full-bodied, dry and harmonious with the intensity and persistence of a great wine.
Pairs with appetizers, pasta and risotto, main courses of both red and white meat, mature cheeses. Thanks to its delicate tannins it can also accompany fish.
Serve at 18-20 ° C, uncorking bottle at least one hour before serving

Bassina is a vineyard especially suited for growing Barbera grapes as it is located in Fontanile, just a few kilometers from Nizza Monferrato, where the land is particularly adapted to the cultivation of this variety. The wild mallards that inspired our logo are at home at the pond here. Classic Guyot vine training and density of 4000 vines per hectare.
